During Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, we immersed ourselves in a world of unique designs and boundless inspiration. Everywhere around us, innovative ideas and creativity spoke .💡🚀 Of course, delicious food was not to be missed, because good ideas deserve good fuel. 🍴 It was an inspiring day full of creative energy, which again gave us plenty of new insights and ideas.

Our office just got a little greener yet again! 💚 We gave our orange wall a AlienTrick office makeover with a moss wall and our iconic alien hand in neon 🖖. Step inside and you immediately know you're at the one and only AlienTrick .

How cool is this? As a thank you for the use of our meeting room, we were surprised with a unique artwork of Hengelo's City Hall Tower, completely in AlienTrick-style! 💫 This beautiful piece was created by the talented Hengelo artists Ursula Aubri and Paul Kleine Gris.

Our team outing in beautiful Friesland was a day full of adventure, fun and delicious food! 🛶🍴 From skûtsjesilen on the water to a specially designed 30 Seconds game, and discovering the charm of Sneek. It was enjoyment from start to finish. With new energy and great memories, we look back on a successful team outing. 🚀✨

What a great way to kick off summer with our AlienTropical get-together! A fun evening full of tropical vibes, complete with a sunny quiz, delicious summer snacks and refreshing drinks. 🌴✨ This relaxed atmosphere was the perfect kickoff before we alternate for a well-deserved vacation. So we toasted together to a successful first half of the year as well as a radiant summer! 🥂🌞

While enjoying snacks and drinks, we dove deep into the world of project management during Bits&Bites PM! 🗓️ But what does a project manager at AlienTrick actually do? During an interactive session we exchanged ideas, discovered the theories behind their work and gained insight into the different phases of the project process. Super instructive and inspiring!

We crawled out from behind our desks with our whole team and went mountain biking under the guidance of Maarten Nijland of BikeChallenge! He put us back on edge during this active afternoon!

During the last Bits & Bites edition, designers Jeroen and Kars, along with front-end developer Tony, were on hand. The theme of their presentation was: design and AI. They asked the question: 'How can AI help us develop and build a website and what tools do we need to do this?' To explore this, they used a test case. Using various prompts and tools, they set up the strategy, branding, content, sitemap, wireframe and design. This led to surprising results.

Yes it's almost Easter, so earlier this week we had a delicious lunch with our neighbors from Webiteers! Our own Easter Bunny Timo hid about 300 Easter eggs at Area51, so we all went fanatically looking for them. 

We don't let this national holiday pass us by, after all, it is pizza day! Our own pizza chefs pulled out all the stops to put together this delicious lunch, and with great success. The choice was vast; from tuna to salami or yet extra cheese, we had a hard time choosing!

Celebration at AlienTrick, because our beloved colleague Tony has been shining on our team for 12.5 years! 🎉🥳 As an experienced Front-end Developer , Tony creates impressive websites and knows how to solve the most challenging technical problems at lightning speed. Our good-humored BBQ master not only brings tasty dishes to the table 🍗 but also excels at boxing and table soccer. In every break, he shows off his talent and easily beats many a colleague on the foosball table. 🥊⚽ Tony, thank you for your enthusiasm, professionalism and positive energy. Here's to many more great years together! 🥂💪

An ode to one of our favorite deep-frying snacks; the kroket.🎉🥔 The Rotary Club Hengelo Driene is breathing new life into the Dutch Krokettendag and this year we are already celebrating its 3rd edition. They connect fun with a noble cause because this year the proceeds will go to the CliniClowns.

The perfect way to take a break from our daily (work) routine and make new memories with our team. Because on Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10, the Aliens went out again ... this time to: Cologne! 🍺🥨
We got to know this "super lustiger" city, soaked up lots of vitamin D, went for fine dining in German kitchens, viewed the impressive Cathedral, took a real Kölsch beer tour and of course had an awful lot of fun together.

Who would have thought our office would be a hidden paradise for BBQ enthusiasts? 🔥With so many grillmasters on staff, it was of course inevitable that it would be a party here! A great opportunity to introduce the Revamp of AlienTrick to all colleagues. 👽✨

AlienTrick Day 2023 👽 was another great success! A day with a focus on corporate culture & job satisfaction, where we all thought about job satisfaction within AlienTrick.

Final score: a bustling (read: very enjoyable) afternoon with only one loser team, as the other 3 teams had the same number of points. 🤪

Flip, flip, hooray! 🥞 It's National Pancake Day again and we can't resist celebrating with our pancakes again 😉 Our top-notch bakers have been baking hard again with bananas, bacon and cheese or just the classic with syrup and powdered sugar.

'Bits and bites' together with Webiteers of our latest projects & 'Bites' because yes doh... snacks! It was a fun (and tasty) get-together with highlights moments for each team beforehand!

We've had a time where everyone had to pop hard, as there were tight deadlines for the ISE event in Barcelona. Which meant that not only the colleagues working on it were busy, but all the Aliens. So we are reviewing these results in a special vrimibo edition with the whole team. All PPDS videos created were shown while enjoying delicious snacks and drinks, here we toast to the hard work and the final result!

We take time to reflect on the past year and what the new year will bring us. We kick off 2023 by enjoying tasty, homemade sandwiches & spicy pumpkin carrot soup from the Breadman with all the aliens and Webiteers. How do you get us to shut up? This way!

All Aliens and following get into the time machine to travel to the 80s/90s. Vintage night is open and we'll eat our fill (because when don't we) with a tasty buffet provided by Roast It! Also, The Vinyl Brothers will provide brain teasers with a music quiz and sore feet with their danceable records!

Under the guidance of David Pauka (of the restaurant Roast It Borne) we will be divided into two teams and have a fiery battle on the Big Green Eggs. A cook off to show who has the best BBQ skills. And as you can see, the end results turned out well!

An extensive vrimibo with drinks, snacks and gifts to celebrate Sinterklaas. We will compete together in teams with the Party & Co game. We also have a viewing party, as we see the final result of our Christmas video for the first time!

This brand new showreel really captures how our clients have inspired us to create cool content and assets. In this version we showcase not only motion and animated content but also how we inspire them with our developed strategies, branding, websites and online marketing projects. All based on our 3 pillars: strategy, creation and activation!

As an intergalactic agency, we like to make our clients, services, job postings and other creative content visible beyond the atmosphere. For this reason, we have equipped our building with a new visual spectacle in the form of an LED wall.

We have already created several cool designs commissioned by JBL for the country teams of the World Cup 2022 (even the winner), RTL GP Dakar 2023, Vrienden van Amstel Live, Tim and Tom Coronel and various soccer teams. Of course, we ourselves could not stay behind and therefore designed our own AlienTrick party box used for vrimibos, party or when we want to annoy our colleagues!

Our team outing this year will take place in Kerkrade and Maastricht. It consists of puzzle rides, drinks, food and most of all the fun together!

What a week!!! For PPDS Philips Professional Display Solutions, we filmed the construction of their Direct View Video LED wall in the Oracle Red Bull Racing paddock club at Circuit Zandvoort. The absolute climax of already a great cooperation so far with PPDS for this successful F1 team. We are going to reminisce!

It's Hengelo Croquette Day! With this we support the Food Bank Midden Twente in a tasty way.

We get up early and visit our new client: CS Opleidingen in Arnhem! Here we hold a client review session, which forms the basis for designing the new corporate identity and website.

We are giving the employer branding of 12Build a big boost which we dove into our studio for! Shooting for a blue screen is an important part of our innovative concept. In post-production the 3D world of 12Build in which the new employees will recognize themselves comes to life.

May 28: It's International Hamburger day! Aliens love good food, that will no longer be a surprise to you. We were already enjoying burgers, cheeseburgers, you name it-burgers last week. Delicious from our own BBQ on the rooftop terrace, ge-not!

The collaboration between Kersten Techniek & AlienTrick exudes inspiration. Their unique process in the field of installation technology is the starting point for us to develop a new corporate identity. In turn, we inspire them with dynamic designs & strategic foundations. A collaboration that we continue together with full energy!

Area51 lights up! With the Hengelight we celebrate New Year's Eve in full 2020 style, an initiative of Ton Nieuwenhuis and Martin Ciesluk. The skies above Hengelo were uniquely illuminated with beams at various locations throughout the city.

Have you already visited the JBL shop in shop at MediaMarkt Hoog Catharijne in Utrecht? What are you waiting for? In collaboration with Harman, we designed this shop in shop completely in 3D, which makes it extra cool to see the end result.

A storytelling-based, cross-media campaign in which Venray residents with sustainable ideas have earned a stage. We embrace these green heroes and inspire others to improve our world too!

Covid tired, Covid kilos, skin hungry, no team building.... #HELP. We Aliens just want to keep moving, too! And how did we do that? With the Lockdown Challenges from PSTF (Positively in Motion).

Did you already know that we have a lovely roof terrace? With even our own vegetable garden, yes! This way we help the bees and grow vegetables & herbs for our bbq's.

When your design becomes reality! For JBL & HarmanKardon we were allowed to develop the shop-in-shop concepts for the MediaMarkt NL Tech Village in Rotterdam... and believe us, they are even more beautiful in real life! 😍

Some days we think are extra important, like Coming Out Day! After all, shouldn't everyone be allowed to be themselves and openly express their sexual orientation or gender identity? We think so too!

Wow, it's Wolleke! We were allowed to translate this cute children's series sheep from 2D to 3D. All this under the guidance of the one and only Dick Hoogeveen, the creator of Wolleke. During the viewing of the first images we surprised him with a hug made by our Marlou.

A video of a few seconds says much more than a piece of text of a thousand words. At least, if you do it right. Harman Kardon launched the Aura Studio 3 in 2020; Perfect audio meets perfect design. We developed a cool 3D product video highlighting all the features of this elegant speaker.

An awesome shoot was scheduled with photographer Ruud Baan. Together with JBL, we developed an image concept with world-renowned DJ Armin van Buuren to promote the latest JBL Club headphones.

From roll-up banners to gift packaging and from beer mats to workwear; the new corporate identity has been consistently implemented everywhere. By repositioning and rebranding Huttenkloas, we turned a dusty beer brand into a true market leader. We are happy to have been able to create so many great things for Huttenkloas!

The first team outing in Corona time, how we were looking forward to it! At the Twentse Bierbrouwerij we enjoyed special beers and the tasty tunes of VroegZat.

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells! A wonderful Christmas drink was not to be missed this year either. Time for a speech and the presentation of the annual employee awards. While dancing, we ended the year on the way to Christmas.

Laureth hosted a get-together where several teams presented projects they were proud of!

Digital, off-set, laminate & foil: no term is unfamiliar to our team after the tour at Van Marle. For our designers, this was of course already known, but it is always good to be up to date with the latest trends in paper and printing.

The IFA in Berlin is a big event. It is the stage where our customer Harman presents its new products to the press. And we were proud to be part of that! This was also the opportunity to see the latest developments in the field of consumer electronics.

CrossFit Twente celebrated its new identity and website with a party. We, as a creative partner, were of course of the party 🥳! Unleash your inner athlete!

4,000 commuting kilometers for our Dimitri in 1 week! #record 🛸 After a few cool days in Val Thorens, Dimitri stepped from one UFO.... uhh plane into the other plane towards London, to go to the media buying agency Initiative (for Harman Kardon) for 1 working day! There are a few more cool campaigns in our calendars! 👏🏻🎯

The ingredients for a cool shoot? JBL, photographer Ruud Baan and world-famous DJ Nicky Romero! For this crazy shoot, our team was responsible for concepting, art direction and production.

Wooo!!! We had our very first obstacle run together with Wirelab - Digital Agency! 💪 Running through the woods, swimming in ditches, climbing over obstacles and biting mud. After 9 tough miles, we made it to the finish line together! Did we mention mud?

Last Friday we kicked off the Easter weekend with a dinner at Twentsche Foodhal. Prior to that, we got the final tip on the team outing.... we are going to LISSABON ✈️

Last weekend was the JBL party for award winners and guests in Val Thorens. Our colleagues Dimitri van der Burgt and Raymond van Cleef were present. With pride we look back on a beautiful event to which we gave color.

It's National Pancake Day and of course we love to feast on this!

This morning a pilot 👨🏻‍✈en stewardess 👩🏼‍✈van Air Awesome surprised us with plane tickets to a still secret location! On May 16, we will take off by UFO! 🛸

We started with a cauliflower soup, followed by noodles with steak tips and finally a pasta with chicken nuggets, all home-made. It was fun and delicious!

Yesterday our Motion team had an additional team member, namely Frank! 👇 Frank is extremely interested in our profession and wanted to join the team for a day. Of course, we think this is super cool and gave him a taste of how things work in practice.

We also gave our views on the new strategy of Saxion University of Applied Sciences. In a panel, Ingrid van Engelshoven (Minister of Education, Culture and Science) and Dennis Schipper (CEO Demcon) were questioned about the connection between HBO and the business world.

Lego in the workplace? Yes! Did you know that you can come up with surprising solutions to complex problems while playing with Lego? We do now!

The second Centuri User Day is a reality! We use Lego Serious Play to brainstorm, and it works like a charm. Fun!

If you want good food, first you have to cook. An idea for a team outing was soon born! We did a cooking workshop at Proefwerck. And you can taste that!

We did a complete rebranding for Poppodium Metropool . And we are darn proud of it!

Since this year we have been in charge of our own vegetable garden. A tasty project - what could be tastier than vegetables from our own garden?

From November 12 to 15, it was National Work Stress Week. We too could use some tips to be more relaxed in the workplace ;-)

Divided into Team Blue and Team Red, we competed among ourselves in Zevenaar. Normally we are one team, but not for a moment....

For JBL, we got to do a shoot with this awesome stickered Lamborghini.

...We celebrate with a rocket! Simple, but otherworldly delicious.

Our always athletic team is appropriately named "FC Ball on the Roof" and will compete during the Westermaattoernooi.

By now we need all three floors of our building to get everyone's picture taken. The team is still growing, but oh how awesome we are :-)

JBL invited hundreds of award winners to Val Thorens for a three-day party full of performances by Nicky Romero, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Feder, AND Tinie Tempah, among others. And our Raymond and Dimitri were there!

Our colleague Ivo gave a talk at Today and Beyond in November on, "How do virtual and augmented reality contribute to the future?"

In collaboration with IAA Architects and KP Interieur, we developed this meetingPODS. A real eye-catcher, both from inside and outside the building!

We like to involve our customers and friends with what we do, so even while decorating our Christmas tree, everyone gets a chance to have their say. And we do something with that! Our first interactive Christmas tree is a reality.

Again this year, we are going to the IFA in Berlin.

Every year we participate in National Bike to Work Day (so that's what FNJWD stands for!) Sporty as we are, most people participate.

Factory Foosball is, besides slap banging, fanatical table soccer with an eye on the ball and the cup... Exciting!

We also organize fun activities for the little ones! The Aliens and mini-Aliens went on an outing in Ruurlo.

During our "Kitchen Table Inspiration Sessions," we inspire our clients in an informal way by sharing knowledge with them.

A black day in the history of AlienTrick. A fire raged on the roof terrace of the building. Fortunately, the fire could be extinguished in time and damage limited.

But literally. After the fire, part of the roof terrace will be replaced.

Vredestein approached AlienTrick for the launch of a winter tire, the Snowtrac 5. This "digital host" was projected from one side of a church in Edinburgh to the other. Experience at its best!

At AlienTrick , we take the extraterrestrial extremely seriously. So on World UFO Day, we celebrated our existence with a rocket.

For years, since the arrival of the Alien in 2004, we dragged it along to fairs and events. Some cracks and tears began to appear, so in 2015 our Alien was lovingly refurbished.

What on earth does FNJWD mean? Well, Bike To Your Work Day of course! Over 75% of the Aliens went by bike.

In 2011, we created the promo of a game in collaboration with Wirelab. In a cartoon style, the main character scurried through the city streets to catch the LG Optimus 2x speed!

In 2011, we burst out of our old building. Construction of a brand new building on Oosterveldsingel (across the street) began ("pan beer" is a term from construction that means the highest point has been reached).

In 2011, AlienTrick celebrated its 12.5 year anniversary. We got a customized AlienTrick table football game and everyone got an iPad.

For the LG booth at the ISE exhibition, we created the concept in which we presented all products and solutions for LG Business Solutions Europe at a booth for the ISE 2010 in Amsterdam.

During SURFdays in 2006, our "baby" Centuri made its debut.

Roelien made the blue Alien out of plaster for us. It was originally intended for a stand at the Business Meets Twente fair. That was one of the first fairs where we stood with AlienTrick . The Alien was also there, and now it has a permanent location in our building at Area51.

In 2004, TJ (Arne's aunt) celebrated her 60th birthday. She was also in the business for 25 years. We did the catering - this went so smoothly that later we were almost hired for other events (multi-talented!).

In November 2004, we (co-)organized the event MediaElements, held at Cinestar (now Kinepolis) in Enschede. For an Internet company it was perhaps not very convenient to organize an event in rooms without Internet, but as always we eventually found a solution ;-)

For the company "High Concept," we created a promo video for the use of Smart Documents in 2003.

The WebText application; at the time, the (affordable) solution for teletext on the Internet. In 2003, this was groundbreaking, believe us.

PartySMS: a state-of-the-art concept where disco attendees can communicate via SMS. A comprehensive package with chat, game options, a poll, showing photos and videos and much more. For something we came up with 15 years ago, it was really super hip.

On Oude Bornseweg, Arne and Raymond opened the first business premises of AlienTrick (which was first called ProWare). There was room for about four and a half people.

Arne & Raymond went to a car garage, but couldn't manage to buy a bus. Fortunately, Arne's grandmother had a car - it was neatly polished and then traded in for what became the ProWare bus.
