Renate Ormel

As a designer at AlienTrick , Renate focuses on everything that makes a brand visually stronger—from online to offline and from the initial idea to the final design. She enjoys the creative process, in which she keeps refining her designs until the imagery, color, and typography feel just right. It’s precisely this combination of creativity and solving visual puzzles that makes her job so enjoyable.

Creativity is a common thread running through her life. She’s always working on some new craft project that this organized slacker probably won’t ever quite finish. At home, she prefers to stay offline: behind the sewing machine, with paint, clay, or floral arrangements.

Want to really make her happy? Then take her to a sidewalk café with a great appetizer platter in front of her, take her to discover a new spot together, challenge her to a game, or let her loose in a thrift store. By the way, she says you don’t have to go far at all to discover new things. The Netherlands has much more to offer than we sometimes realize. Beautiful nature, small villages, or a cool city: beauty is often closer than you think. Although, of course, she wouldn’t say no to a trip to a faraway place either.

What might excite her the most? People who are truly committed to something and can talk passionately about their profession or hobby. In that regard, she fits right in among her colleagues at AlienTrick .
