From online to live success
As a strategic design agency, we at AlienTrick are always looking for opportunities to help brands stand out and achieve their goals. In partnership with DaVinci Academie , we created the campaign surrounding The Great Education Fest, an event that is all about connection, inspiration and creativity in education. This year's theme was "Own Wisdom," matching the theme of Children's Book Week 2024, "Be Stubborn." A wonderful theme that we wanted to bring to life from within, both online and at the live event in January.
The Great Education Fest
The event was held online during the corona period, making it an innovative way for DaVinci to keep in touch with teachers and students. The initial idea behind The Great Education Fest is simple but powerful: an event that ties in with Children's Book Week, always on the day after Budget Day, when the cabinet's education plans are announced. This creates a perfect opportunity to open dialogue about education and share innovative ideas. This year's theme was not only special, but also very relevant: Own wisdom - the wisdom that lies within each of us.

From strategy to success
We were asked to think strategically about the campaign and corporate identity of the online event. From strategy to execution: we ensured that The Great Education Feast was highly visible online. In preparation, we drew up a clear guideline for the campaign, determined the corporate identity tools and created a key visual that connected well with DaVinci, the Education Festival and translated the theme of the cocky well.

From online to live success
We also helped set up an email campaign (reminders, last-call and follow-up), develop a new website for submitting themed works, and optimize the campaign landing page. The result? 50 schools (out of about 280 clients) participated, and the response from both teachers and students was tremendously positive. Online success was a reality!

Live event at the Media Plaza and National Education Exhibition
As a strategic agency, we at AlienTrick are always looking for opportunities to help brands stand out and achieve their goals. In partnership with DaVinci Academie , we created the campaign around The Great Education Fest, an event that is all about connection, inspiration and creativity in education.
This year's theme was "Own Wisdom," matching the theme of Children's Book Week 2024, "Be Quirky." A wonderful theme that we wanted to bring to life from within, both online and at the live event in January.
Networking and results
Of course, we couldn't miss it ourselves, so we visited to experience the event in real life. It was great to see how everything took shape and really came to life! Networking was essential during this live event. DaVinci had the opportunity to talk to existing clients as well as meet new ones. The social media posts were actively shared during the week, making it clear to everyone where they were and what they were doing.
We also advised DaVinci to focus on their marketing and sales goals first, so we could measure and evaluate the results later. After the event, we visited DaVinci in Amsterdam to go over the results. This provided valuable insights for future campaigns and events.
Impactful campaigns through strategic collaboration
AlienTrick is all about collaboration and strategic thinking. Together with DaVinci Academie , we optimized the visual identity and communication of The Great Education Fest and participation in the NOT. We went all-in with a multichannel approach: from strategy and visual assets to technical execution. From email campaigns and website designs to advice on the exhibition stand and activities. The result? A campaign that made an impact and perfectly matched the values of DaVinci Academie and the wishes of the target group.
The success is in that multichannel approach: the mix of online and live events ensured reach and engagement at all levels. This project was an opportunity for us to show what we can do, but above all a testament to the power of strategic and creative collaboration.
