Founded in 1958, Meal Service Apetito provides meals and related services to various healthcare facilities, businesses and individuals. After the great reach generated by radio commercials in recent years, Apetito wants to expand this reach with a connecting TV commercial.
Since regional stations are very popular with an older audience, this commercial will be shown at least 2x 2 weeks nationwide on regional stations. It was up to us to give it visual form. An assignment to lick your fingers at.
A story in 15 seconds
Telling the whole message in just 15 seconds is quite a challenge. On paper you can write out all the text just fine, but will it fit in such a short time?
After testing out loud several times with a stopwatch present, rewriting, testing out loud again (resulting in some surprised looks from colleagues) and a test-shoot in our own kitchen, we finally had the ideal script in hand.

Locations and (preparation)
For this shoot, we had to shoot in two locations in one day. A living room and a large catering kitchen.
We quickly found the living room and for the second location we were allowed to use our client's kitchen Metropool (thanks guys!). The day before the shoot we went to the market to buy a few kilos of vegetables (our colleague Sara used them to make a delicious soup for all her colleagues the next day). After the shoot we corrected the colors to make the meals look even tastier!
Result
After a hectic production day at two locations and a smooth post-production process, where we were able to arrange actor Egbert-Jan Weeber as voice-over, we arrived at a final result we are proud of.
