Philips Professional Displays launched the new 32" Philips Tableaux 5150 ePaper display for its customers last month, and they did so in a special way: a webinar, live from the PPDS Master Showroom in Amsterdam. Size up with Philips Tableaux, an online event that was preceded by a full campaign.

Technology is no stranger to PPDS. Previously they won several awards for their ePaper displays but with this new variant they are the first to bring a 16:9, 32" full color display to the market. When we describe it simply, you can see this display as the replacement for a paper poster. A sustainable and interesting product because when the visual is loaded on it, the display does not consume any power.

In developing the campaign concept, we took a close look at what sets this new ePaper display apart: full color character and this is reflected in the various visuals. The visuals were used for the announcement through social media and newsletters, but can also be seen in the PPDS Master Showroom, where the event took place.

Live from Amsterdam

Amidst several Philips Professional Displays , we built the set for this online event. A panel of experts told us more about the main features of the product, the collaboration between Philips and eInk and for which different markets this new product is recommended. The event was streamed live via an online platform. This gave us instant insight into the statistics after the event, which showed that online viewers stayed hooked throughout the event. Of course, a live stream or webinar is not only visible at the moment itself. You can share the entire recording afterwards and you have valuable content for an aftermovie, summarizing the highlights once again.

More than a table talk

The right content makes a livestream even more interesting to watch. For example, we developed a 3D product video highlighting the key features of the Philips Tableaux 5150 ePaper display. This was shown live during the event and will be featured at multiple trade shows and online in the coming year.

A retrospective

We look back on a successful event. In a short time we set up the campaign, developed several videos, prepared the event and on the day itself we were ready to set up the Showroom and assist the direction.
