Originally from Hengelo, stand-up comedian/artist Jeffrey Spalburg, asked us to create the music video for his new song "Boss.
Jeffrey is text writer for Jorgen Raymann, known for the hit Hengelo-o-o and ambassador of AlienTrick. So naturally we made a 'boss' video together!
Plan of action
After a joint brainstorming session, we immediately went to work on the concept.
The basis of the song is that the man always thinks/says he is the boss at home, while the woman actually has the pants on. To make this "dream world" that men find themselves in a fun way visual, we chose to enhance his words and actions with hand-drawn illustrations.

Result
Jeffrey left us very free during each stage of the project, yet to give him the best possible idea of the end result we paid extra attention to the concept phase.
Styleframes, storyboards, moodboard an extensive rehearsal until finally the filming day when everything came together.
In the extensive post-process, we added 2- and 3D animations and finalized the video. The end result: a "boss" music video. Right at the top of the charts!
